You will then reach Drass village which has the distinction of being the 2nd coldest place in the world after Siberia in Russia. Arrive Kargil town by evening and check-in at the hotel for overnight stay. | | | | Day 2 : Kargil to Ulley Camp | | | After breakfast drive to Ulleytokpo Leh 160kms. enroute visit the ancient Rock-cut Statue of Maitreya Buddha at Mulbekh village and later on stop for photo at the Lunar Like Landscapes near Lamayuru Monastery. Arrive Ulley Resort by evening , followed by the overnight stay. | | | | Day 3: Ulley to Leh | | | Further to Leh 70km en-route visit Likir monastery, Indus & Zanskar river Sangam and Hall of Fame.
